Imprivata Customers to Lead Discussions about Increasing Provider Productivity and Enhancing Patient Experience at International MUSE

Lexington, Mass.—May 19, 2015—Imprivata® (NYSE: IMPR), the healthcare IT security company, today announced that two customers will lead speaking sessions at the International MUSE Conference (May 26-29, 2015 in Nashville, Tenn.) to showcase their use of Imprivata’s leading authentication, access management, and secure communications solutions. The CIOs at Valley Presbyterian Hospital (Van Nuys, Calif.) and Beaufort Memorial Hospital (Beaufort, S.C.) will discuss how they leverage Imprivata’s products to drive workflow efficiency, improve care coordination, increase provider productivity, and enable better focus on patient experience. Details of the sessions include:

  • Jeffrey Allport (CIO) and Robbin Messier (director of information systems) of Valley Presbyterian Hospital will deliver a presentation titled “Our ‘Journey’ to VDI/SSO Success at Valley Presbyterian Hospital—From Strategy to Implementation” on Thursday, May 28 at 11:15 a.m. The session will focus on Valley Presbyterian’s successful integration of desktop virtualization and Imprivata OneSign® to deliver fast, secure No Click Access® to MEDTECH and other clinical applications at the point of care. Valley Presbyterian will provide strategies and best practices other organizations can follow to give providers roaming access to the systems and information they need, whenever and whenever they need it, to improve productivity for better focus on the patient experience.
  • Ed Ricks, CIO at Beaufort Memorial Hospital will deliver a presentation titled “Improving Clinical Communication and Care Coordination at Beaufort Memorial Hospital” (session 1131) on Thursday, May 28 at 3:30 p.m. This session will focus on the innovative policies, processes, and technologies—including Imprivata Cortext®--implemented at Beaufort Memorial to improve clinical communications and care coordination. It will showcase the benefits of using Imprivata Cortext to improve efficiency in several critical workflows, including code STEMI, radiology, and anesthesiology.

At the conference, Imprivata (booth #1432) will also showcase its portfolio of leading solutions for authentication, access management, secure communications, secure signing for electronic prescribing of controlled substances (EPCS), and, through its recent acquisition of HT Systems, patient identification.
