Tameside uses Imprivata® OneSign® to cure Password Management Ills

For Tameside & Glossop Acute Services NHS Trust, which serves a population of over 250,000, password management was a growing problem. The IT Services Desk was spending a significant amount of time fulfilling password reset requests and there was a desire to improve auditing abilities. After a successful installation of Imprivata’s OneSign Single Sign-On and Strong Authentication components, the Trust has experienced a reduction in the password management workload for its IT Services Desk and has gained increased control and management over user credentials.
