MeritCare Health System Solves Application Sign-On Issues, Leading to Increased Efficiencies and Staff Productivity
With up to eight different applications requiring passwords, the staff at MeritCare Health System was struggling to remember their login credentials. Growing numbers of lockouts and login delays resulted in lower productivity, increased security risks, extra burden on support staff, and ongoing user frustration. In response, MeritCare decided to implement a single sign-on (SSO) solution to coincide with a portal deployment that was underway. Now, Imprivata OneSign, integrated with Siemens clinician portal and Carefx context management, is enabling MeritCare’s physicians and nurses to quickly and easily access a variety of applications as well as helping MertiCare comply with internal policies and regulatory mandates.
