Overview & Methodology

Imprivata Implementation Services provides a unique blend of technical and project management experience to ensure a successful enterprise-wide implementation of Imprivata OneSign. Imprivata’s Implementation Services has developed a specific methodology to ensure a rapid, successful product implementation of OneSign.
Discovery
The primary objective of the Discovery phase is to define the success criteria of the OneSign implementation and project timelines. Items for discussion during this phase revolve around the customer's network topology, security policies, key milestones as identified in the project plan, and number of applications to be enabled for SSO.
Installation & Configuration
The Installation & Configuration phase is where the majority of the implementation activities are performed. This phase consists of four primary bundles of services; Appliance Setup & Configuration, OneSign Setup (including a day of Application Enablement for OneSign SSO customers), Training and End-User Enablement.
Testing & Pilot
Every enterprise solution requires extensive testing not only from the implementation team but also from a cross section of a pilot user community. Implementation Services best practices call for a two (2) week pilot with as few as 25 users after the joint implementation team feels confident the project scope has been defined. The intention of the user pilot is to certify the SSO configuration is ready for a corporate wide deployment. Implementing a mechanism to collect, monitor and process feedback is critical to successfully completing this phase.
Deployment
The Deployment phase begins once the implementation team agrees that the Pilot and Testing phase is complete and the solution is ready for enterprise-wide deployment. During this phase Imprivata Implementation Services can assist with the preparation, testing and distribution of the client software, end-user communication, and Help Desk training.
