The ongoing rollout of Imprivata OneSign across the trust’s two main sites will allow clinical and support staff to improve the speed at which they can access patient information and the levels of patient care they can deliver. The implementation of Imprivata OneSign, delivered through Imprivata reseller and NHS Security specialist BMS, will improve clinical productivity by providing users with a single point of secure authentication through which they can connect to multiple applications, including patient administration, pathology, radiology and PACS, rather than having to remember or write down individual credentials. With Imprivata OneSign, The Hillingdon Hospital NHS Trust will eliminate up to 15 percent of their password-related helpdesk calls and save IT administrators up to 30 minutes per logged call. Imprivata OneSign also helps IT staff quickly grant and revoke user access to applications, as well as providing valuable auditing capabilities for compliance and regulatory purposes.
