Melbourne Internal Medicine Associates Deploys Imprivata’s OneSign Single Sign-On Solution
Eliminates the Impact of Password Proliferation on Patient Care
Lexington, MA – February 21, 2008 – Imprivata®, Inc., the converged identity and access management appliance company, today announced Melbourne Internal Medicine Associates (MIMA), the largest multi-specialty group practice in central Florida, has rolled out OneSign® Single Sign-On (SSO) to 15 locations serving Over 1000 employees including clinical, diagnostic and administrative departments.

Key considerations for MIMA in evaluating OneSign were the ability to handle the full range of applications in use, data and password security and performance reliability. Acting on Tribridge’s recommendation, MIMA’s IT team found that OneSign easily met all of the criteria.

Slover adds that the process of rolling out OneSign SSO started with select smaller locations and expanded to the entire company, incorporating dozens of applications on every platform and delivery method including Web, Windows and hosted applications, with fat and thin clients. OneSign SSO smoothly adapted to all of them, enabling a company wide deployment to be completed in weeks rather than months.
