Thank you to all our wonderful Nurses – here’s what they think of Imprivata
International Nurses Day is celebrated around the world on 12 May, the birthday of Florence Nightingale. This year, Imprivata UK marked the day at Queens Hospital Burton, part of University Hospitals of Derby and Burton, a long time user of Imprivata technology.
A perfect opportunity for us to say ‘thank you’ and show our appreciation for the hard work of nurses, we joined the pop-up event at Queens Hospital. We came armed with goodies including mobile phone power banks and ‘moptop’ pens, which are so popular they are fast becoming collectors’ items.
As part of the day we offered nurses a chance to tell us what they thought of Imprivata, and how it made a difference to their day. We gathered comments from 44 nurses that covered:
- How easy it is to log in and out with Imprivata Enterprise Access Management
- How our solutions resulted in time saved and eliminated the need to remember passwords
- The value of having stronger security that keeps patient information confidential while ensuring fast access to patient information.
- And perhaps my favourite was from an ED sister who said that time saved could be spent on what matters most, patient care.
Here are some of the comments:
Not sure how I’d cope without it!! Saves so much time! Easy as pie
Time saving and easy to use, very useful in urgent situations where system needs to be access quickly.
I love that I don’t have to remember lots of passwords. Easy to use.
I know on the wards it was really helpful for some of our non-techy staff, because they didn’t have to remember 20 passwords, so from a management point of view – I love it! Charge Nurse
The ease of being able to open a site and be logged in without having to trawl through numerous passwords is a great time saver! Means my time is spent on things that matter – the patient. ED Sister
I like that all my passwords are secure and easy to get to without the old notebook!
I love that it frees up for more patient are by not having to log into separate systems and computers and in the fluid nature of ED I can swap and change computers seamlessly without losing work. ED Sister
Tapping on/off to speak with MDT/Family is brilliant, as you don’t have to finish/come out of a note.
Love, love, love. Makes life easier.
