CMIO Rising
This year I am attending my first Association of Medical Directors of Information Systems (AMDIS) meeting in Ojai, California. Maybe it is the beautiful southern California setting that brings the analogy to mind. Or maybe the round of applause that spontaneously erupted this morning when the Supreme Court ruling upheld the Health Care Reform Bill's major muscle reinforces the energy. TMCnet: KLAS Rates Imprivata
Imprivata, a provider of secure access management and collaboration, announced that Imprivata OneSign has received a score of 88.4 in the Klas 2012 Mid-Term Performance Review: Software and Services report.  In a release dated June 21, the Company said that the report states that Imprivata scored 6 or more points above the software category average and between 3 and 6 points above the Single Sign-On market area average.  OneSign was among the top seven products out of the 718 rated this year."  Imprivata's success can be attributed to listening and understanding our customers

Imprivata Assigned Patent ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 11 -- Imprivata, Lexington, Mass., has been assigned a patent (8,220,063) developed by David M.T. Ting, Sudbury, Mass., for a "biometric authentication for remote initiation of actions and services." The abstract of the patent published by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office states: "In one aspect, the invention relates to generating a trusted communication channel with a client.
