Imprivata Zeroes in on VMworld 2011

The boxes are packed and shipped, the demos are locked and loaded and the staff are frantically trying to re-book their flights to get out of Boston before Irene pays her scheduled visit on Sunday…

Back in February, Imprivata announced a development partnership with Teradici that would enable Imprivata to provide No Click Access® from zero client devices. A little more color? As the leader in single sign-on and authentication management in healthcare (and beyond), it is common for clinicians to log in to workstations many times a day. No Click Access® enables clinicians to log in to the desktop and their applications with just the swipe of a fingerprint or tap of an ID badge, removing the clicks… There’s something going on with virtual desktops in healthcare (more on that to come). But zero clients can’t support the authentication devices required…

…Until now. Head over to the Imprivata booth #1070 to take a look at the tech preview of the joint development between Teradici and Imprivata. And just in case it’s too busy to get close, you can also see it at the VMware, Teradici, Dell and VCE stands. Yes, it’s that cool. While you’re there, ask Michelle for some sonic rocks – I hear they’re kind of fun.
