VMworld 2011: From the Show Floor Part 1

Back in Vegas, this time for VMworld. Still hot….and I’m not referring to just the weather. With somewhere in the vicinity of 20,000 or so people expected to attend, this year’s event is sure to be another exceptional week.

I’m extremely excited about our participation in this year’s show particularly the opportunity to demonstrate the results of our collaboration and integration with some of our partners. Imprivata is working in conjunction with VMware, Teradici, Dell, and VCE to showcase our joint solutions, which showcase VMware View serving up virtual desktops, Imprivata OneSign providing No Click Access® to roaming virtual desktops including single sign-on to applications, and Teradici-enabled devices supporting all of this using PCoIP-based zero clients from vendors including Samsung, Dell, Wyse, 10Zig, and others. The buzz has been tremendous so far just leading up to the show so we can’t we wait to get things started.

So, stop by any of these stands (we have Sonic Rocks if that helps guide you to #1070) and see how easy it can be to give users fast simple access to desktops and applications from virtually anywhere, including their mobile devices. Automatic connect and rapid reconnects to the virtual desktop with roaming between thick, thin, and zero clients as well as mobile devices provide an extremely efficient and flexible solution for just about any user, not to mention the benefits to the IT staff. Secure access with not a password in sight.

If you’re headed to VMworld, stop by one of our booths…we’ll have even more great things to show you. More to come as the week progresses…
