Imprivata Names Tom Brigiotta SVP Worldwide Sales and Field Operations
Former StreamServe and Cadence Executive Brings Over Twenty Years of International Sales Experience to the Imprivata Team
LEXINGTON, MA - 15th October 2008 — Imprivata®, Inc., the converged authentication and access management company, announced today that it has named Tom Brigiotta as its new senior vice president (SVP), worldwide sales and field operations. With over twenty years of international sales experience in the technology industry, Tom will be responsible for driving Imprivata’s sales and field operations across the globe.
Tom has a strong track-record of building world-class sales operations, having most recently served as the SVP of field operations for StreamServe, Inc., a leading provider of dynamic enterprise publishing software solutions.
Prior to StreamServe, Tom was with Cadence Design Systems, a global provider of electronic design automation (EDA) solutions that has approximately $1.5 billion in annual revenues. In his fifteen-plus year tenure, Tom held several high-profile field management positions in North America and Europe, most recently serving as the organization’s vice president of European sales and marketing.
Tom’s career began as a digital design engineer at Texas Instruments. He received his MBA from the University of Texas at Dallas and his BS with honors in electrical and computer engineering from Clarkson University.
