Imprivata Launches Global Corporate Volunteer Program

Imprivata Cares supports children and youth through wellbeing and educational initiatives

Lexington, Mass.–June 15, 2016—Imprivata® (NYSE: IMPR), the healthcare IT security company, today announced the launch of its global corporate volunteer program, Imprivata Cares. Through the program, Imprivata employees globally will have the opportunity to participate in local community volunteer opportunities that support children and youth.

Imprivata Cares builds on existing volunteer opportunities that Imprivata offers annually to its employees. Through the initiatives, Imprivata will collaborate with organizations such as Coats for Kids, Home for Little Wanderers, and Tech-Gives-Back to organize food drives, toy drives, educational support, and other volunteer programs throughout the year. Employees in each Imprivata office will have opportunities to collect donations and participate in a variety of initiatives in their local communities.

“Our employees have always had a strong passion for giving back to the community,” said Kelliann McCabe, Chief People Officer of Imprivata. “The Imprivata Cares program gives our employees great opportunities to work together as a team while providing support to youth in need around the world.”

Imprivata kicked off the program last month with a global donation drive in each office. As a company, Imprivata collected more than 800 items and 75 pounds of nonperishable snacks, which were donated to five different charities supporting youth around the world. Imprivata Cares plans to build on this momentum with upcoming initiatives in 2016.
