OneSign Single Sign-On: Stable, Reliable Product

In nearly 30 interviews, no one reported any problems with downtime or system instability with Imprivata OneSign Single Sign-On. A number of providers commented on how reliable the product was. One IT director observed, "The support from Imprivata is very good. They are one of our strongest vendors. We get good attention from them and good support with upgrades. The system has very few bugs and no downtime, so we really only need Imprivata's help around configuration management. They are always responsive with those questions." 

OneSign Single Sign-On: All Report They Would Buy Again

All 26 Imprivata OneSign Single Sign-On customers KLAS interviewed reported they would buy the product again, citing the product’s ease of use and the technology’s ability to save clinicians time as key drivers of satisfaction. On average, providers rated Imprivata 91 (out of 100), and 95% of respondents reported that Imprivata did not nickel-and-dime them. One CIO explained, “Imprivata OneSign Single Sign-On is one of those things that if implemented well, people can’t help but like. For years, physicians have complained to me that they can’t remember seven different passwords, and I don’t blame them. They like things that make it easier for them to log in to computers and workstations. From a security perspective, we have to have individually authenticated network access for each user, but that is cumbersome and difficult for the users. If done right, Imprivata OneSign Single Sign-On satisfies both parties. . . . If we want the clinicians to adopt the meaningful use things, we have to improve the workflows. That was our primary motivation in buying Imprivata in the first place. I like the company and the product. We have been really happy with the product, and the vendor has done a great job for us.”

All of Imprivata’s interfaces are very well designed. OneSign Single Sign-On is very easy to use and doesn’t require a lot of reference manuals. It is very self-explanatory. Accessing tools and managing the program through the web interface is very simple. It makes support easier so we don’t have to spend as much time when there are issues or changes to the system.

We believe that OneSign Single Sign-On is superior to similar products on the market today. We have mapped the product to over 100 applications, and the true value is that it keeps the physicians from being frustrated. They do not have to worry about forgetting passwords or not being able to get into an application. OneSign Single Sign-On is a one-stop shop that our physicians believe they absolutely have to have.

I like Imprivata’s technology. We are looking to expand the system’s use. We don’t need to do a lot of training with the end users. It is a pretty painless process to jump onto the system, and we are doing all of that with badge access. The first time people enroll, they swipe their badges and put in their passwords and are pretty much done.

The system doesn’t show up on my horizon, but I consider that a positive thing. In my opinion, the system is doing pretty well. I heard about the implementation when it first started, but it went about as well as it could have because I didn’t hear any more about it. The clinicians don’t give me high fives about the system, but nobody is throwing rocks at me. The system is a no-brainer from a CIO perspective. It has met all of my objectives.

Everyone wears an RFID badge. We just walk up to a computer and place our badge within a few inches of the card reader. In the blink of an eye, we are logged in to the computer and can see our own desktop. It is very easy. When I go to a website that requires me to log in, Imprivata OneSign Single Sign-On knows my username and password for that site, and I am in. Imprivata's support has always worked well with us. I have never had any issues with them. Working with them has been a great experience.

The implementation experience was great. One person in particular did a lot of the implementation. He was very good at it and very knowledgeable about little tricks for getting things to work. He did what he called profiling the application, meaning it now sees that we are trying to log in to certain systems and helps us. That was a trick he had to do some tweaks for sometimes, but he was really good at it.

I really haven’t needed much support from Imprivata. I have called them a time or two. We have had one or two little hitches, but Imprivata was great on their support. We didn’t have a problem. As a matter of fact, the person who did the install wound up calling me back, and we had a good visit. He helped me and was very thorough. But again, we really haven’t required much support, because the product just works. I have been really happy with it. I would recommend it to anyone looking to do single sign-on.

From product development to service and support, Imprivata is one of our favorite vendors. They have created a product that is high functioning yet easy to use. They are very attentive and make sure that everything runs smoothly. They are very pleasant to work with.

My interaction with Imprivata has been fantastic. They are always very responsive to anything I need. I always have somebody at my beck and call. I can pick up the phone and get an answer to my question. When we are not exactly sure about what we need to accomplish, we ask questions of Imprivata. Imprivata immediately responds to us. They don't just provide the support that is necessary to do what is being asked of them; they work as our partner to ensure that our project is smooth and successful.

We have been able to resolve the issue of multiple sign-ons on multiple systems with OneSign Single Sign-On. The users really like the time and effort they save with OneSign Single Sign-On and have found it pretty easy to use. The system is worth it and is a good investment.

Imprivata has some really wonderful people. We have had a good time working with them, and we are going to be piloting OneSign Single Sign-On in our nursing unit in the next month. Our medical staff members have requested that we do that for years, so I am actually thrilled that we are finally going down that road.

This technology has helped us save our people lots of time. One application has 185,000 logins, so it is easy to imagine what it means for us when our people only have to log in one time to access to all the applications they need to. Potential users need to make sure they implement the technology the right way. If they do, they can have a very positive experience.

OneSign Single Sign-On has been a huge success for our hospital. We have over 100 applications mapped to the product now, and the physicians are actually using it. OneSign Single Sign-On is reliable and Imprivata has been a fairly easy vendor to work with. Of course, there were the usual learning pains during the first couple of upgrades because we didn’t realize so many different profiles had been built, but overall, we are very happy with this product.

Our Imprivata OneSign Single Sign-On implementation was coupled with the rollout of a virtual desktop infrastructure. This combination was very attractive to us for a number of reasons. We have a production implementation reaching hundreds of end points in our environment today, and that is working well. We are waiting for the next phase of the roll-out because of a capital budget allocation, but to date, we have been pleased with the functionality.

The Imprivata team was amazing. One of the senior executives from Imprivata worked very closely with us for a time to ensure that we were able to do what we had planned to do. They really dived in a showed that we were an account that mattered to them. The support team was excellent, too. We didn’t hit any issues that couldn’t be resolved. There were certain things that we had to go back to Imprivata’s support for, and Imprivata was always there to moves things through. This really has been a very solid relationship the entire time.
